PE will be a mixture of outdoors and indoors, so a hoodie is a always good to include.
We will send your child’s PE bag at the end of every half term, if you want it sooner please let us know.

Forest School
We will be doing Forest School every Wednesday with Mrs Powell.
For Forest School sessions, please bring the following:

- A full set of spare clothes (please send in old clothes as the children will get muddy!)
- Warmer clothes such as joggers and hoodies for the winter months
Reading
Reading books will be changed every Wednesday to begin with.
Initially, we will send home story books for you to share with your child at home. When your child begins getting ‘Book bag books’ from read write inc sessions they will need to have their reading book in school every day. We will let you know when this is.
Please share stories and read with your child every day and sign their reading record, it is this repetition that will secure your child’s learning.
Homework
We will set a short task on Tuesday to be completed by the following Monday. This will usually be shared on our online platform, Tapestry.
Some homework will involve an activity through the app and other homework challenges will be a practical challenge for you to complete with your child.
We will also be sending home letter formation sheets to match the letters we are learning in read write inc.
