Please remember to use Nessy- little and often works best. 30 minutes on a spelling activity and 30 minutes of a reading activity will really help with your child's literacy skills.

Today's game is 'Guess Who' if you already have the board game, the key words could be stuck over the faces on the game, but if you haven't already got it, don't worry- just use the word cards which have been cut up to separate them.
Secretly choose a word, your child then has to ask questions to try and guess which word you have chosen. Questions might be;
Does your word start with....?
Does your word have 4 letters?
Does your word end with the letter....?
After each question, your child can turn over the cards the answer doesn't apply to until they are finally left with only one word card.
Here is another online game to help with fluency of times tables. In school, we start with 2s, 5s and 10s- your child is ready to move on to 3s and 4s once they can answer the questions automatically without counting on. The only way to learn times tables is to practice, practice, practice!
