Listen to the story “Hansel and Gretel”

Talk to your grown-up about the story. Your grown-up can ask you these questions:

  • Did you like the story? Why?
  • Who are the main characters in the story?
  • Where do Hansel and Gretel live?
  • What did Hansel drop along the path?
  • What was the house that they found made of?
  • Who pushed the old woman into the oven?
  • What was the problem in the story?
  • How did the problem get fixed?

Say each sound, along with the action. Say the sounds in a quiet voice, then in a loud voice! How many sounds and actions can you remember?

Now it’s time to sing our tricky word song! How many words can you read?
