Year 6 River Study Trip

Year 6 had a fantastic time yesterday when we visited Crowden in the Peak District. Although it was wet, the children worked really hard to collect data about the river and used this to think about how rivers change with the seasons. They also highlighted many of the features we have been discussing in the classroom and showed some fantastic knowledge. Finally, they had a tough uphill walk but were rewarded with some beautiful views of the valley.
