Wake Up, Shake Up!

In this session we are using a calming breath and then a Sun Salutation sequence to energize and wake up the body.

Year 3 Literacy- The Great Kapok Tree- Day 5

My example- The animal I chose was a sloth

Senhor, this tree is the tree of life, I spend almost my whole life in the tree tops. The canopy is my home. If you cut down the tree I would be devastated. I spend at least ten hours a day sleeping in the branches of this tree and without it I would be easily attacked by predators. Unfortunately the title of being the World's slowest mammal means I would be an easy meal! This tree also provides me and my family with all the leaves we could eat. As I am slow moving I provide a home many other creatures such as moths, beetles and cockroaches. Please Senhor, think about me, my family and all of the other creatures who depend on this magnificent tree.
