Today you are going to be working on your spellings. Now some of these spellings could be used later in your newspaper article so make sure you know how to spell them correctly!


Work through the spelling questions first carefully and then check the answers.


Then choose at least of the spellings and use the spelling strategy link below to help you learn them off by heart.


Finally, can you go back and look at yesterday’s direct and indirect sentences. Can you up level your sentences to include the spellings?


For example:


“I’m just so pleased to be home, safe, with my family,” immediately stated Michael upon his return. (Direct)


Happy beyond belief, Michael’s parents have said it’s marvellous to have him back and are said to be planning a huge welcome home party with close family and friends very soon. (Indirect)
