Good morning Year Two, our last day of home learning today. Are you all looking forward to being back in school next week? I know the teachers are very excited to see you all.

Thank you to all the children who have shared the work they have done, it has been a real treat to see what you can do!

Now this is quite a tricky challenge but you can do it!

You are going to learn how to say Hello in semaphore - this is a way to communicate by visual signalling using flags, lights, or moving arms which are used to represent letters of the alphabet.

The aim is of this challenge is so when you return to school you will be able to say hello to your teacher and class bubble. It is a brilliant way to send a message to someone from a distance but still visible.

If you master hello quickly you can try learning your friend or teacher's name too and greet them personally.
