DT - In DT we have been finding out about different mechanisms. We have been finding out about winding, turning and hinge mechanisms. We followed a brief and created some superhero vehicles using a range of these mechanisms.

Superhero Stunning Start. We had a fab time dressing up as our favourite super heroes. Batman came and taught us some martial art moves which we could use with our super powers.

In Science we have been looking at lots of different plants. We put a flower in food colouring to see how water travels up the stem. We also submerged a leaf in warm water. We could see bubbles, which proves that leaves breathe and plants are living things. We have also started growing potatoes and Hyacinths.
